Installing an early distributor in a 2.0 block
To install an early distributor (for example a 1.6, 1.7 or 1.8) into a 2.0 block, an adapter ring is needed. It's sometimes called a bushing or simply, an adapter. If you're replacing your block with a 2 liter block, you'll need this ring, and the gear from the later distributor
